Pontus Alv in ‘The strongest of the strange’
A drawing I did of two skateboarders, the first is Shawn Powers and the second is Pontus Alv. Both are skaters I really admire skate and film-wise. Pontus Alv also made one of the first skateboarding films I saw, The Strongest of the Strange, which I got free in a magazine and blew me away when I was younger.
makeshift D.I.Y film festival in Barton’s vintage Bus garage/ warehouse space, was a great weekend. Saw many films and remember seeing the looks on peoples faces after watching ‘its a wonderful life’. People also sat in the cars to watch the films
